There's no denying that this print is gorgeous. There's also no denying that the fabric is ridiculously soft and cosy. I love touching it. It's like wearing a hug. But there are some issues. After having bought an oodie, I wanted desperately to love their robe style. I've got curves so I have to size up, I get that. But no one's head sizes up so much with increased weight that a hood big enough to fit two heads is necessary. I have 3 choices - wear it with the hood down, wear it with a ridiculously enhanced bun to use up some height, or have the hood flop down to my mouth when on. It's unfortunate. But the main issue I have is with the cut. The robe style is clearly cut for men. It's very much a straight fit. If you have hips, this is going to gape open. I should have clued in on this from the pics but I thought by sizing up I'd have enough fabric to adjust for this. But no. No extra fabric was incorporated to adjust for bodies that aren't straight up and down. The pattern really needs to incorporate some flare in the lower half to account for curves, especially when waists cinch in tight (again, the female shape as opposed to the male shape). It just makes me sad because I want to love this robe so much. It has so much going for it.
